How JOG Consultancy Started…

There comes a moment when you just know - something needs to change.

You can feel it long before you say it out loud.

For me, that moment crept up after years in Sales and Marketing - years spent learning, leading, and watching ideas turn into results. I’d built a solid career, starting in my early twenties, but there was a whisper in the background: What if I did this my way? What if I made it mean more?

Whether it was maturity, menopause, or simply the desire to make a difference, I decided it was time. In the summer of 2013, I took the first steps toward going solo. And by 2015, JOG Consultancy was born.

At first, it was just me - my experience, my laptop, and a lot of determination. But very quickly, I learned that success isn’t about going it alone. It’s about surrounding yourself with the right people - collaborators, partners, and clients who share your values and your vision.

That’s what has shaped JOG Consultancy from day one.

Today, I’m doing what I truly love: helping businesses find clarity, confidence, and direction in their marketing.

I’ve never been one to sugar-coat things -  if you’re looking for a straight-talking Lancashire lass, you’ve found her. I believe honesty and simplicity are powerful tools for growth.
